This was the largest wolffish of the 2004 Bunny Clark fishing season and his largest wolffish ever. An interesting aside, I had to gaff this fish twice to land it. After the first gaff job, I almost had it over the rail when it dropped back into the water! Had Don not been quick and released his drag, this fish might have broken off the line at the surface and taken off before I could gaff it again! Just another reason why I love Don so much!
