Bunny Clark Deep Sea Fishing

2026 Fishing Season

The digital image (I love this picture and probably won't change it! This is the epitome of what good fishing is all about; big fish, great anglers and perfect weather.) above was taken during our longest offshore trip (twenty-four hours) called the ultra marathon. This one, on July 19, 2005, was one of the more enjoyable Ultras. But it will be most remembered by the number of large cod that were caught on the trip. Also, the weather was perfect with a calm ocean all day. Some of the best anglers I have ever known appear in the shot above. From right to left are Bob Withee (NH), to his left is Don Johnson (MA), Jim Feeney (MA) appears next to Don, Fred Kunz (NH) has the blue knife on his belt in the corner and Tim Williams (CT) has just hooked into a big one on the stern. All these anglers are hooked up to cod in the 30 pound range (more or less). It was the one time that year that I had the camera ready at the right time. Or so it seemed. The Ultra is much like our other marathons with slightly less anglers and a full twenty-two hour day on the water. Tickets for the Ultra are obtained by invitation only.

2026 Season Schedule and Rates

April 14 through November 3, on Selected Days

Edited January 11, 2026
Note: We will only be running fifty-nine trips, all marathon trips, this season with Tim Tower the sole captain. Reservations for the 2026 season will be commencing on Sunday, February 1, 2026 at 6:00 AM local time or 0600 EST. Reservations will not be accepted "online", "in person", "email" or "by letter" until Monday, February 2, 2026. In fact, reservations are never accepted by letter or email. Ticket prices per person for the marathon trips will be $210.00/person. Since the Iran war, fuel prices have been escalating. As of April 13, 2026, we are paying just shy of $5/gallon. This is the highest we have ever paid for boat fuel. And, of course, this means that we will be asking for a fuel surcharge, again, as we did in 2022.. It will be minimal for offsetting the price increase but it will be more than I want to charge and seem more to our customers. We are starting with $20.00 per person, the most I have ever had to ask for. The last time we had to ask for a fuel surcharge was every trip in 2022. We are hoping this conflict will end soon so that we can go back to normal. But what is normal anymore? I am indeed sorry about this and hopefully it will go away sooner than later.

As mentioned previously, we will only be running the marathon trips during Bunny Clark fishing season. These trips will run every Tuesday and Thursday unless they are canceled due to weather or, God forbid, engine breakdowns. This will be the second season that we have not run the half day trips and the full day trips. It will be the first season, since I invented them, that we won't be running the extreme day trips. Because of my bigger role in the Barnacle Billy's restaurants, three days a week took me away from the restaurants more than I wanted along with myself being the sole captain of the Bunny Clark.

CHARTERS ALSO AVAILABLE

[I (Tim Tower - no one else) reserve the right to add one more person to any trip we offer, and that policy still stands.]

ARRIVAL TIME: Please arrive 1 hour before departure to secure your reservation.

MARATHON FISHING TRIPS - 5 A.M. to 5 P.M. - $210.00 per person (Max. 18 passengers). We are running 59 scheduled marathon trips this season. It is mandatory to call about departure times the day before your trip leaves. If you do not call you could be left on the dock if we leave earlier and you aren't there to leave with the boat. This has happened in the past. There are no refunds for missing the boat. If the weather is good and the fishing is better further offshore, we leave earlier (between 3 AM and 4 AM) in order to take advantage of calmer seas, the darkness and faster cruising speeds.
Note: As has been scheduled since the 2014 season, the marathon trip is an event that takes place on Tuesdays & Thursdays, normally. Marathon trips used to sail Monday, Wednesday & Friday during the 2013 season and the years before.

Marathon Trips

1. Persons must be at the dock 1 hour before departure.
2. Very large and/or empty coolers are to be left ashore.
3. Persons are required to reconfirm between 11 AM and 6 PM (at the latest) the day before departure to determine the possibility of cancellation for bad weather and actual departure time. Depature time may vary 2 hours or more from schedule.
4. Full rain gear and waterproof boots are required on April, May, October & November trips. Full rain gear is always suggested & a very good thing to have on any marathon trip.

The Marathon trip dates for the 2026 fishing season are as follows:

April: 14,16,21,23,28 & 30
May:5,7,12,14,19,21,26 & 28
June:2,4,9,11,16,18,23,25 & 30
July:2, 9,14,16,23,28 & 30
August:4,6,11,13,18,20,25 & 27
September:1,3,8,10,15,17,22,24 & 29
October:1,6,8,13,15,20,22,27 & 29
November:3

The schedule calls for Tim Tower to be running all the trips as captain this season. This will be a pilot year, as was last season. The outcome of this coming season will determine how or if we run the 2027 Bunny Clark fishing season.
